Also note: When making these plates it is necessary to prepare the 3 main parts (salts, agar, and sugar) separately . Each must be prepared and autoclaved independent of the others. Please follow the order below.

Next, prepare the agar:

After the 3 parts have been autoclaved, combine the contents of the three flasks together and add the following stock solutions:
