Rattler Plating Bead Cleaning Protocol

• Gather used beads.
• Add beads to a large flask containing DI water and contrad 70.
• Cover flask with parafilm and shake vigorously.
• Allow flask to sit overnight.
• Drain water from flask and rinse beads with DI water several times until all trace of detergent is gone (transfer beads to different container if necessary).
• After rinsing, the beads should be allowed to dry before autoclaving.
• After beads are dry transfer them into appropriate container and autoclave.
